Srinagar, June 3 (KNN) The land of Pashmina witnessed record sale of Rs 4.52 lakhs of Khadi on May 30.

A National Level Exhibition of Khadi & Village Industry product was recently held in Srinagar.

Khadi & Village Industry sales recorded new high in 1st ever National Level Exhibition after Independence in J&K, MSME Minister Kalraj Mishra said in a tweet.

“On 30th May 2016 record sale at National Level Exhibition at Srinagar of Rs 4.52 lakhs of Khadi & Village Industry Product in a day,” he added.

Total sales conducted at National Level Exhibition at Srinagar till 30th May was Rs 104.61 lakhs.

Meanwhile, the Minister yesterday held review meetings with the officials of MSME Ministry and KVIC on Khadi Reform Development Program. (KNN Bureau)
