Ranchi, Mar 14 (KNN) Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das has announced to come up with a separate policy for MSMEs along with major incentives for the mega projects in the state. The industry has welcomed the move and said it is their long pending demand.

Talking to KNN, the Secretary of Jharkhand Small Industries Association (JSIA) Deepak Kumar said that the state government had promised it and even the central government had assured for a new separate MSME policy in Jharkhand.

“We face problem in getting subsidy and incentives as the same subsidies are needed by the big and small industries both due to which the SMEs end up getting just a small part,” he added.

Raghubar Das said that his government will act as a facilitator for smooth operation of industry. Addressing a gathering at CII’s Ninth ‘Enterprise Jharkhand 2016’ at the Gopal Maidan on March 13, CM said that the government has focused on four major areas such as IT, agriculture, industry and tourism. He also pointed out that ‘Ease of Doing Business’ has been initiated to do away with. (KNN Bureau)
