UPSIDC signs MoU with Sanjay Khan’s company to build theme park in Agra

Lucknow, May 19 (KNN) UP Government has signed a MoU with filmstar Sanjay Khan's company for developing a theme park in Agra to promote tourism. 

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed in the presence of Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav. On behalf of the Uttar Pradesh government, the MoU was signed by the Managing Director, UPSIDC (Uttar Pradesh Small Industrial Development Corporation), Manoj Singh. Sanjay Khan signed on behalf of his company.

“Today a MOU was signed between UPSIDC and Mr. Sanjay Khan to build a theme park based on 7 historical Indian cities,” Yadav said in a tweet on Wednesday.

The project will be jointly developed by the state government and Khan's company, Kingdom Entertainment Private Limited. 

Talking about the MoU, UP CM said India's historical and cultural heritage will be depicted through the park which would be relevant for students, tourists and researchers.

"The world will get to know more about the country, especially Uttar Pradesh," Yadav said, adding that the project would also create employment opportunities. 

Apart from this, the CM said that it create employment opportunities and boost the economy of the state.
