Vasundhara Raje interacts with MSMEs in Bhilwara; says need to revive all sectors along with textiles

Bhilwara, June 28 (KNN) Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje interacted with the industrialists and traders in Bhilwara and said that there is a need to revive other industries along with the textile sector in the city which was once known as ‘Manchester’ of India.

For this, she said, there is a need for support from the industry as well.

“Interacted with business community of Bhilwara—we are committed to give boost to industrial development,” Vasundhara Raje said in a tweet after meeting the industrialists here on Monday.

She said, “Industries must start adopting practices of plantation, rain water harvesting, solar power usage, cleanliness drives for sustainable development.”

Raje, while interacting with the industrialists from the textile sector, raised concerns over discharge of polluted water from the process house and pointed that as per the rules there should be zero discharge from these units.

She said that industrial pollution can be checked by adopting technology for which the state governments wants to support the industry.

Raje urged the industrialists to take initiatives and measures for the development of villages around Bhilwara.

Raje also assured the industrialists to take up the issues related to entry tax and subsidy related to solar power generation.

Rajasthan chief minister asked the local industries to actively be a part of skill development programmes at it is and Skill Development Centres.

The state chief minister also announced that there are plans to set up a Sewerage Treatment Plant at Bhilwara with an estimated cost of Rs 350 crore. Also, under the Amrut Yojana, Rs 250 crore has been sanctioned for the city, of which the first instalment has been released, she informed.  (KNN Bureau)
